Pork Tenderloin

This is our favorite way to prepare pork tenderloin, using common ingredients you probably already have in your spice rack.

  • Serves 4–6 people
  • Prep Time: 10 min
  • Cook Time: 35 min

for Marinade

  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh cracked pepper
  • 2 tbsp diced garlic
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning blend
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin

for Drizzle

  • 1/2 lemon or fresh lemon juice

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  3. Make the marinade by combining the olive oil and all of the spices together.
  4. Generously season meat with salt and pepper.
  5. In a large pan, heat olive oil until shimmery.
  6. Add the tenderloin to the pan, and cook on all sides until dark golden brown.
  7. Transfer to a baking sheet.
  8. Generously coat with herb & spice marinade.
  9. Drizzle lemon juice over the meat.
  10. Wrap in foil, bake until meat is 145 degrees internally at the widest, thickest part of the tenderloin (about 25 minutes.)
  11. When pork has come to temperature, remove and let rest, tented with foil, for at least five minutes to lock in juices.
  12. Slice against the grain and serve immediately.
